Yes — Chinese passport holders can enter Singapore visa-free for up to 30 days as of 2026.
Holders of ordinary passports issued by the PRC are exempted from visa requirements for stays of up to 30 days. Effective 9 February 2024, pursuant to the mutual 30-day visa-exemption arrangement announced at the 19th Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation. Holders of diplomatic, public affairs and service PRC passports are also exempted under prior long-standing arrangements.

To apply for an entry visa for social visit, you will need to produce the following documents in support of your application. Additional documents may be required when necessary. - Passport: Original passport and a photocopy of the applicant’s passport bio-data page must be furnished. At least 6 months’ validity (calculated from the date of arrival in Singapore) and one blank visa page. - Form 14A :One set (Original) of duly completed form (in English) and signed by the applicant in person per application. If the applicant is under 16, parent should sign on FORM 14A. Please note that the Annual Income in Singapore dollars (SGD) on Form 14A should be filled with fixed exchange rate at 1:5 (SGD:RMB). - Passport-sized coloured photographs: Two sets, please write your name (same as passport) and your passport number back of your photos (one to be affixed onto the Form and the other for scanning purpose). The photograph must meet the following requirements: Size: 2 inch, coloured, against white background and taken within the last 3 months; Taken full face without headgear (unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with his/her religious or racial custom but the headgear must not hide the applicant’s features). - Copy of Chinese Visa page/Foreigners resident permit page - All applicants should also produce the following documents: - If the applicant is employed: an original letter from the employer granting leave of absence and stating the duration of employment, designation and salary, is required. The letter must provide the name, address, telephone number(s) and fax number(s) of the company. The letter must also be stamped with the official stamp of the company. - If the applicant is a student: certificate of studying or Student Identity Card is required. - If the applicant is retired: retirement certificate is required. Bank statement is also an optional supporting document. - If the applicant is unemployed/ freelance: he/she must produce documents eg. Certificate of bank deposit, (original and photocopy), so as to reflect his/her actual economic capability. There is no minimum requirement on the amount of money needed on the certificate of bank deposit but the certificate issuance date must be within 1month of the visa submission date. - If the applicant is under 22: the certificate of birth is required as well.

The printout date of the company’s business profile should not be dated more than 6 months from the day of submission. Applicant who is invited by Singapore government agencies, universities or are attending exhibition/conference/convention in Singapore are not required to produce Form V39A and business profile. The applicant however needs to present the original letter by the inviting organization or event organizer addressed to the applicant. The invitation letter must be signed by the invitee of the organizer and addressed to the applicant (the full name as in passport). - Form V39A or Letter of Introduction: Form V39A or Letter of Introduction must also bear the address, telephone number, fax number, official stamp of the Singapore company and the NRIC number of its representative.
