Kenya Visa for Latvian Citizens2026 Requirements, Fees & Documents
Latvian passport holders need an approved eTA (electronic travel authorisation) before travelling to Kenya - a quick online pre-screening completed before departure, not a full visa.
- Max stay
- 90 days
- Visa cost
- USD 32.5
- How to apply
- Online, before travel
- Processing
- 3 days
Policy noteAll visitors to Kenya who are not exempt must apply for an eTA online before travel at https://etakenya.go.ke - Kenya abolished visas entirely in January 2024, so the eTA is the entry authorisation itself, not a layer on top of a visa. Exempt: EAC citizens and (since 2025) most African nationalities, which appear as visa-free entries; Somalia and Libya are excluded from the African exemption and still require an eTA. Types and fees: Transit eTA $20; Standard eTA (single entry, up to 90 days) $30; One Year Multi-Entry eTA $300; Five Year Multi-Entry eTA $185 (US nationals only). Processing time capped at 72 hours (expedited option introduced 2025).
