🇧🇹Bhutan Visa for Somali Citizens2026 Requirements, Fees & Documents
Somali passport holders can apply online for a Bhutan e-Visa before travel. Unlike an eTA, this is an actual visa — just issued digitally — so no embassy visit is needed for eligible short-term visits. Eligibility and covered purposes vary, so check the conditions below.
All foreign nationals not falling under visa-free or visa-on-arrival categories must obtain an e-visa/e-permit prior to entry into Bhutan. Applications are processed through the tourist online visa/permit system at immi.gov.bt. Processing time is a maximum of two working days. Passport must have minimum 6 months validity from intended date of departure from Bhutan. Valid travel insurance is mandatory. All tourists must book through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator and pay the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF).
