Please click here (PDF checklist) for the document checklist Required Documents and Information - Valid travel document (passport) Issued within the previous 10 years, containing at least two blank visa pages, and valid for at least three months beyond the intended visa expiry date. - Completed application form The application form must be fully completed and signed by the applicant. - Photograph One recent passport-style photograph (35 × 45 mm) and not older than 6 months old. - Travel medical insurance An insurance policy covering medical expenses arising from illness or injury for the entire period of visa validity. As a rule, travel medical insurance must be valid for the whole period of requested visa - Documents indicating the purpose of travel For example: - Invitation or confirmation letter from a host in Estonia; or - Documents confirming employment in Estonia (e.g. employer confirmation, registration of short-term employment); or - Documents confirming studies in Estonia. Please note that during the examination of the application, the Consular Officer may request additional documents. 6.Proof of sufficient financial means Evidence of adequate financial means for the stay in Estonia, including proof of income for the past three months (amount, regularity, and source) General requirement: €70 per day (or €2,100 per month) 7. Criminal record certificate A criminal record certificate from the applicant’s country of residence (or proof that such a certificate cannot be obtained), issued within the last six months and duly apostilled. Applicants residing in Australia must provide an Australian Federal Police (AFP) police check. 8.Service history declaration (if applicable - ADDITIONAL FORM 1) Applicants who currently work or have previously worked in foreign intelligence services, security services, armed forces, or other force structures must submit documents confirming service history, rank, and retirement or reserve status, where applicable. This requirement does not apply to NATO citizens or if such information has previously been submitted and remains unchanged. 9. Biometric data At the time of application submission, biometric data (10 fingerprints) will be collected. Children under 12 years of age and persons for whom fingerprinting is physically impossible are exempt from this requirement. 10.Visa fee The applicable visa fee must be paid at the time of application. Additional Information Required - Employment and education details (BIOGRAPHICAL DATA FORM) Information regarding current employment, studies, and other relevant personal circumstances. Not required if previously submitted with a D-visa or long-term residence permit application. - Social media information (BIOGRAPHICAL DATA FORM) Details of the applicant’s social media accounts. - Family information (CLOSE REALTIVES AND FAMILY MEMBERS) Information about close relatives and family members. If a foreign national applying for a long-stay visa has close relatives or family members. Immediate family members for whom at least basic information must be provided are the applicant’s parents; minor children; adult children who are unable to support themselves due to health conditions or disability; and the spouse or registered partner. - Security declaration (BIOGRAPHICAL DATA FORM) A declaration regarding any past or present involvement with criminal, terrorist, or extremist organisations, including related contacts, activities in controlled territories, handling of weapons or explosives, or involvement in crimes against humanity or war crimes.
