- Commonly issued as a single- or multiple-entry visit visa; validity and per-visit stay are set per invitation.
- Does not permit employment - a Work Visa is required to take up a job.
Transit Visa (Stopover Visa)
Short stopover or passing through Saudi Arabia en route to a third country
- Free of charge (subject to applicable taxes and insurance).
- Valid 90 days from issuance; maximum stay 96 hours (4 days), non-extendable.
- Available to applicants of any nationality.
- A free stopover transit visa is granted automatically when flying Saudia or flynas; passengers on other carriers apply through the Enjaz e-service platform (enjazit.com.sa).
- Travellers transiting under 12 hours without leaving the airport do not need a transit visa.
Umrah Visa
Performing Umrah pilgrimage - for Muslim travellers
- Issued under the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah via the official Nusuk platform.
- Open to Muslim travellers of any nationality; e-visa-eligible nationalities apply directly online, others through an agent licensed by the Ministry.
- Under 2026 rules the pilgrim must enter within 30 days of issuance, and every application must be linked to confirmed Nusuk accommodation and transport bookings.
- Not available during the Hajj season blackout.
- Tourist e-Visa holders may also perform Umrah without a separate Umrah visa.
Hajj Visa
Performing the Hajj pilgrimage during the Hajj season - for Muslim travellers
- Issued under the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah exclusively via the official Nusuk Hajj platform for pilgrims from serviced countries, and bundled with an approved Hajj package (housing, transport, catering, Mashair and guidance services).
- Single-entry and valid only for the Hajj season, whose dates are set by the Islamic calendar.
- Cannot be obtained through third-party agents outside Nusuk.
- The visa itself carries no fee, but package costs apply.
