🇸🇱Sierra Leone Visa for Eritrean Citizens2026 Requirements, Fees & Documents

Eritrean passport holders can apply online for a Sierra Leone e-Visa before travel. Unlike an eTA, this is an actual visa — just issued digitally — so no embassy visit is needed for eligible short-term visits. Eligibility and covered purposes vary, so check the conditions below.

Nationals not covered by ECOWAS free movement or the September 2019 VoA/landing visa policy must obtain a visa in advance. The official eVisa portal (evisa.sl) is operated by the Government of Sierra Leone. SLID officially directs all advance visa applications to evisa.sl. Applications can also be submitted at Sierra Leone embassies or consulates abroad.
