Long-stay permit for foreign nationals (non-Haitian citizens) who wish to reside in Haiti beyond the 90-day visa-free entry period.

  • Fee is 5,000 gourdes (approx. US$38) payable by cheque to the public treasury.
  • Required documents include a passport bio-page copy, an employer/sponsor letter guaranteeing support and repatriation, a medical certificate issued within 30 days, two colour photos, a copy of the entry card from last arrival, a birth certificate (French translation), a Haitian bank attestation (minimum 7,500 gourdes / US$200), and a police record from the country of origin.
  • Applied for in person; a written request explaining the reasons for the stay and an interview are required.
