Kenyan passport holders need an approved eTA (electronic travel authorisation) before travelling to Sri Lanka, but not a full visa.

All foreign nationals not in the 40-country free ETA list must obtain paid ETA. Tourist ETA fee: USD 20 (South Asian/SAARC countries, applied/at mission) or USD 25 (SAARC, on arrival); USD 50 (all others, applied/at mission) or USD 60 (all others, on arrival). Business ETA: USD 30 (SAARC) or USD 55 (all others); no on-arrival business ETA. Transit visa is free for 48-hour stays. Children under 12 receive free tourist ETA up to 30 days from any nationality.
