Long-stay national visa for foreign nationals who are founders, participants, or beneficial owners of a Ukrainian legal entity with a minimum ownership share of EUR 100,000.
After entry on Type D visa, investor must apply to DMSU for a Temporary Residence Permit valid for 2 years (renewable). Minimum investment threshold: EUR 100,000 (at NBU exchange rate). Investment may be in monetary form, property, or securities. Government fee approximately UAH 1,140 (combined). Processing: 15 working days.

Long-stay national visa for foreigners conducting religious activities, working for non-governmental organizations, engaged in cultural or scientific exchange, or accredited as foreign media correspondents.
Category covers multiple sub-purposes: religious leaders/missionaries, foreign NGO staff, participants in technical assistance projects, cultural exchange programs, scientific research, and foreign media correspondents with accreditation. Long-stay entry visa for foreigners who have already obtained an immigration permit from the State Migration Service, allowing entry to Ukraine to obtain a Permanent Residence Permit. Immigration permits cover spouses and close family of Ukrainian citizens, persons of Ukrainian origin, immigrant investors, highly qualified specialists needed by Ukraine, and other quota/non-quota categories.
The D-01 visa itself is a 90-day multiple-entry entry visa; it is issued only to holders of an immigration permit already granted by the State Migration Service (DMSU). After entry, the holder applies for a Permanent Residence Permit (indefinite). Immigration permits are quota-based, with separate non-quota categories for spouses/children of Ukrainian citizens, persons of Ukrainian origin, guardians, and foreign investors (USD 100,000+). This is the immigration / permanent-residence pathway, distinct from the 2-year temporary-residence investor route (D-12).

Long-stay work visa for foreign employees of a registered representative office of a foreign company (D-08) or a foreign bank (D-09) in Ukraine. Unlike the general employment visa, eligibility is based on a Service Card issued to accredited representative-office staff rather than a work permit from the State Employment Service.
The D visa is a 90-day multiple-entry entry visa. Issued to foreign staff of representative offices of foreign business entities (D-08) or foreign banks (D-09) registered in Ukraine, based on a Service Card (sluzhbova kartka) issued by the Ministry of Economy rather than a State Employment Service work permit. After entry the holder obtains a Temporary Residence Permit valid for the accreditation period. Fee varies by nationality on a reciprocity basis.

Long-stay visa for foreigners coming to Ukraine for volunteer work, or for cultural, educational, scientific, or sports programs, on the invitation of a Ukrainian state body or of an organisation that engages volunteers.
The D-10 visa is a 90-day multiple-entry entry visa. Requires a letter of invitation from a Ukrainian state body responsible for cultural, educational, scientific, sports or volunteer programs, or from a volunteer-engaging organisation listed on the Ministry of Social Policy website (accompanied by its state-registration certificate). After entry, a Temporary Residence Permit is obtained for the duration of the activity. Distinct legal ground from the religious/NGO/media/technical-assistance category above.
