HOWEVER Wikipedia (a listed source) classifies Malaysia under 'Visa on arrival … for a fee' (15 days) at Damascus/Aleppo airports and does NOT include Malaysia in its visa-exempt list - a direct named contradiction. The same zero-fee table also lists Serbia and Lebanon, both of which are retained as VOA (not visa-free) in this record due to conflicting sources, so table membership alone does not prove no-visa-required status.
