Namibian passport holders can apply online for a Somalia e-Visa before travel — no embassy visit for eligible short-term visits. Eligibility and covered purposes vary, so check the conditions below.

All visitors not listed under visa-free or visa-on-arrival categories must apply for eTAS (Electronic Travel Authorisation for Somalia) online before departure via etas.gov.so. The eTAS is a single-entry permit valid from the stated arrival date; entry must occur within 180 days of the arrival date. Effective September 1, 2025. NOTE: Taiwan (TWN) nationals are included in this eTAS category — a temporary entry ban on Taiwanese nationals was imposed in April 2025 and lifted in June 2025; they now require eTAS like all other non-exempt nationalities (confirmed via Wikipedia citing official Somalia immigration sources).
