touristTourist Visa "TR"

- Original Passport with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure. - Three copies of the passport bio page. - Three completed visa application forms - Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant with white background. - Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only) - Evidence of adequate finance, e.g., an updated 6-month bank statement with a minimum balance of THB 20,000 (NPR 80,000) per person and THB 40,000 (NPR 160,000) per family. Applicants need to bring relationship certificate, marriage certificate or birth certificate, if the applicant is being sponsored by his own family members, e.g., father, mother, children, husband and wife. (In case of e-statement or bank statement photocopy it should have original stamp of bank.) - Confirmed accommodation under the applicant’s name for the duration of intended stay in Thailand. If the accommodation is being covered by an inviter, a letter of invitation, national ID of the host person and rental or lease agreement of the residence should be submitted. - Travel itinerary, i.e., a detailed plan of the applicant's trip in Thailand - A copy of confirmed airline ticket indicating the date of arrival to Thailand and departure from Thailand. - Visa fee (NPR) which can be paid in in house bank counter.

transitTransit Visa "S"

- Original Passport with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure. - Three copies of the passport bio page. - Three completed visa application forms - Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant with white background. - Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only) - Letter of invitation to participate in sport activities from the concerned organization in Thailand - Evidence of adequate finance, e.g., an updated 6-month original bank statement with a minimum balance of THB 10,000 (NPR 40,000) per person and THB 20,000 (NPR 80,000) per family. (In case of e-statement or bank statement photocopy it should have original bank stamp) - A copy of confirmed airline ticket indicating the date of arrival to Thailand and departure from Thailand (and for applicants applying for double entries visa, a copy of an airline ticket showing the second entry to Thailand) - Visa fee (NPR) which can be paid in in house bank counter.

otherNon-Immigrant Visa "O” (For court appearance)

- Original Passport with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure. - Three copies of the passport bio page. - Three completed visa application forms - Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant with white background. - Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only) - Evidence of adequate finance, e.g., an updated 6-month original bank statement with a minimum balance of THB 20,000 (NPR 80,000) per person and THB 40,000 (NPR 160,000) per family. (In case of e-statement or bank statement photocopy it should have original bank stamp) - A copy of an official document indicating a court appearance request issued by the concerned Thai authority - Visa fee (NPR) which can be paid in in house bank counter.

- Passport or travel document of (1) Japan (2) Australia (3) Denmark (4) Finland (5) France (6) Germany (7) Italy (8) Netherlands (9) Norway (10) Sweden (11) Switzerland (12) United Kingdom (13) Canada (14) United States of America, with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure and its copy - Three completed visa application forms - Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant - Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only) - A copy of confirmed airline ticket indicating the date of arrival to Thailand and departure from Thailand - Biography - Certificate of bank deposit stating bank contact information, copy of bank book and bank statement which shows fixed deposit with the amount of not less than THB 3,000,000 deposited in Thai bank located in Thailand, Certificate of bank deposit stating bank contact information, copy of bank book and bank statement which shows fixed deposit with the amount of not less than THB 1,800,000 deposited in Thai bank located in Thailand and certificate of annual income with the amount of not less than THB 1,200,000 (local currency equivalent) per year ** Once the applicants enter Thailand, they must have accumulated money deposited in Thai bank located in Thailand not less than THB 3,000,000 within 1 year. ** The money must be kept in bank account at least 1 year before withdrawing and, within another next year, the money must be left in the account with the amount of not less than THB 1,500,000 and can only be spent in Thailand. - Certificate of criminal record clearance from the country of nationality. In case the applicants have permanent residence in other country, they must provide the aforementioned document from both country of nationality and country of permanent residence. - Medical certificate from the country where the applicants apply visa stating that applicants do not have any prohibited diseases according to the Ministerial Regulation No. 14 (B.E.2535) which include Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Elephantiasis, drug addiction, third stage of Syphilis. The medical certificate must not be issued over 3 months. - Evidence stating that applicants have insurance as per stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and health insurance of Thailand which has insurance money for outpatient not less than THB 40,000 and for inpatient not less than THB 400,000. If not qualified, the spouse may apply for Non-Immigrant "O-A" or "O" Visa. ** The applicant’s children that are less than 20 years old may also apply for the Non-Immigrant "O-X" Visa by submitting the same required as the main applicant, except (7)-(9). Otherwise, they can apply for Non-Immigrant "ED" or "O" Visa.

- Diplomatic passport or UN passport (UN Laissez-Passer), which is equivalent to a diplomatic passport, with validity of not less than 6 months prior to departure and its copy - Three completed visa application forms - Three recent passport-sized photographs of the applicant - Proof of residence in Nepal (for non-Nepali passport holders only) - Letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from the embassy of the applicant’s country or from the agency or organization of the UN. The letter must clearly specify the name, position and purpose of the trip.

otherNon-Immigrant Visa "O" (For volunteer or NGO)
