Under the Compact of Free Association, citizens of the Republic of Palau (by birth, or former TTPI citizens who acquired Palau citizenship in 1994) may travel to and reside in the United States as nonimmigrants without a visa for an unlimited length of time and are eligible to work and study in the US. No ESTA or ETA required. Must present a valid Palau passport. This is a special free movement arrangement under the Compact, not the VWP.
