The written request should contain information: - about the invited person – name and surname, date of birth, gender, nationality, identity document number, duration and purpose of travel, and number of entries, and the name and surname of a minor child who accompanies the invited person (if applicable); - about the inviting person – name, surname and address; - about the inviting party (legal entity, trading company or organization sending the invitation) - full name and address, as well as the name, surname and position of the person who signed the letter of guarantee (invitation); - OIB (personal identification number) – if it is a legal entity, trading company, institution or their branch established in Croatia; - TIN (taxpayer identification number - INN) – if it is a legal entity, trading company, institution or their branch based in the Russian Federation. In the case of international conferences, a written request as above will suffice. For individual visits: an original form JAMSTVENO PISMO PRAVNE OSOBE (PDF checklist) from the inviting party along with proof of financial solvency of the inviting party (BON 1 or BON 2) should be submitted or a copy is acceptable if the original has been deposited at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. The JAMSTVENO PISMO PRAVNE OSOBE should be correctly filled-out, signed by an authorized person and stamped by the inviting party. In such cases, only a Croatian legal entity can be the inviting party. 2. INTERNATIONAL SPORTS EVENTS A written request from the host organization of the sports event, the relevant authorities, national sports unions, the national Olympic Committee should be submitted. Along with the information about the invited person/s, the purpose and duration of the stay, the request should contain either the OIB (personal identification number) of the inviting legal entity or the name, surname and position of the person who signed the request. If the information in the invitation is insufficient, an additional sponsorship statement from the sending or receiving party (or other document confirming financial means) should be submitted. Participants of the international sport events should submit an invitation from the host organization in Croatia; in other cases, a form JAMSTVENO PISMO PRAVNE OSOBE (PDF checklist) from a sports club or sports union in Croatia should be submitted. Currently, when applying for a visa for participation in sporting events, Russian citizens must provide a letter of guarantee – JAMSTVENO PISMO PRAVNE OSOBE – from the inviting party in Croatia. Please note that all fields in the letter of guarantee must be filled in and legible. When applying for a visa for participation in sports events, the original JAMSTVENO PISMO PRAVNE OSOBE must be submitted together with the visa application OR must be sent for safekeeping to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia*. PUPILS, STUDENTS, GRADUATE STUDENTS AND ACCOMPANYING TEACHERS. Pupils, students, graduate students and teachers accompanying them during trips related to study or professional education as part of exchange programs or other types of training should submit a written request or admission certificate from the school / university, or student cards, or certificates about the courses which they will study. Applicants applying for a visa to Croatia for studying purposes with a planned stay over 90 days are required to apply for a TYPE C VISA. The written request should contain information: - about the invited person – name and surname, date of birth, gender, nationality, identity document number, duration and purpose of travel, and number of entries; - about the inviting party - the full name and address, as well as the name, surname and position of the person who signed the official invitation; - OIB (personal identification number) – if it is a legal entity, trading company, institution or their branch established in Croatia; - TIN (taxpayer identification number - INN) – if it is a legal entity, trading company, institution or their branch based in the Russian Federation. - JOURNALISTS/INDEPENDENT JOURNALISTS (up to three months) Journalists should submit: - a certificate from the Union of Journalists confirming that the applicant is a qualified journalist, AND - employer's certificate confirming that the purpose of travel is journalistic activity. In accordance with article 18, paragraph 2 of the Visa Code (HH 7/2013 , NN 109/2021) the invitation letter should contain: - information about the seafarer – name and surname, date of birth, nationality, travel document number, place of issue and validity of the travel document; - purpose of arrival; - the period during which the foreign citizen (seafarer) will stay in Croatia; - information about accommodation of a foreign citizen (if necessary); - information about who bears the expenses for the stay of a foreign citizen in Croatia; - name and surname, position and place of work, address and telephone number of a contact person from a maritime agency who can provide relevant information about a foreign citizen; - confirmation of the seafarer's professional status (sailor's passport, employment contract, etc.).
