If the host family is not vetted before the child travels to Ireland the charity must make arrangements to have the child placed with a family which has been vetted. - Copy of the childโs birth certificate. (This should include English translation) - Notary permission to travel from either parents or the legal guardian of the child. (This should include English translation) - Copy of both parents passport details page to verify signature. - If one of the parents is missing (their location is not known, they are deprived of their parental rights by a courtโs decision, they are dead) โ evidence of same is required. This should include English translation. For the legally appointed guardian โ evidence of the appointment (e.g.: a courtโs decision). This should be translated into English. It must be clear from the documents submitted who has legal guardianship/custody of every child. - Letter from studies (school/college) (This should include English translation) - If you have been refused a visa for any other country, details of this must be given.
