Electronic Visa (e-Visa) - Enacted, Not Yet Operational

Online visa application system for all nationalities, eliminating the Letter of Invitation requirement. Signed into law by presidential decree on April 18, 2025 as part of the Migration Law amendments.

Presidential Decree of April 18, 2025 introduced the e-visa system and abolished the LOI requirement for the new system. The State Migration Service (migration.gov.tm) will administer the platform. As of June 2026, the portal is still not operational and no confirmed launch date has been announced. Fees, eligible nationalities, maximum stay, and processing times remain undefined pending Presidential implementation decrees. Until the platform launches, the old paper-application + certified LOI system remains in force.
