- Visa application form duly filled and signed by the applicant. - Two recent colour passport size (about 50mm x 50mm) photograph, showing full frontal view of face against a white background to be pasted on the application form. - Current Valid passport with minimum of 180 days. - Requisite fee 3rd Country nationals are required to submit a copy of valid residence permit B or C. - Letter of admission from recognized educational institution with duration of the course A copy of your flight reservation details (Travel itinerary) - Bona fide letter the school / college - Receipt / Acknowledgement of fees paid to the school / college. - Documents showing financial support for tuition fees and stay in India. - Proof of English specking efficiency (Preferably a high school level certificate of English subject or equivalent proof of English course studies - Proof of present academic level of studies - Proof of financial support preferably a bank statement - All applicants will be required to download and sign a Declaration Form, which will be made available on the website in.vfsglobal.ch ↗ (PDF checklist ↗) and submit it along with the application at the Visa Centre

Your form should be printed signed in the box under the photograph on page 1. You should validate the data on your form and accept the declaration on page 2 by signing at the bottom of the page. - Passport: Original passport with minimum validity 180 days (from expected return date) and containing at least 2 blank visa pages. - Passport Photos: Two photographs conforming to Indian Government norms (50 mm x 50 mm). Please note: Standard Swiss passport photos are not the prescribed format and will not be accepted. Detailed specifications can be found under on our Photo Specifications Page. One photo should be pasted to the form on page 1 in the box provided and the second attached with paper clip. A photo booth is available in our Office in Bern. - Residence Permit/Referral Form: Non-Swiss/Liechtenstein Nationals are required to submit a photocopy of their valid Residence Permit category B, C or L (G and F category permits will not be accepted). - Pakistani nationals and Swiss Nationals of Pakistani origin. Four sets of specific application forms for Pakistani nationals and Swiss Nationals of Pakistani with one identical photo on each form. Additionally, four copies of “ Additional Information Form (PDF checklist ↗) ” - Travel Itinerary: Flight Reservation, E-Ticket or travel plan. Note: Although a confirmed booking is not necessary, a detailed itinerary showing arrival and departure dates as well as flight details is compulsory.
