Trinidad and Tobago passport holders can get a visa on arrival for Jordan (up to 30 days), so no visa is needed before travelling.

The official MoI page distinguishes 'Restricted Countries' (need prior approval) from 'Non-Restricted Countries' (no prior approval needed). Non-restricted nationals obtain visa on arrival at air, land, and sea ports, EXCEPT the Allenby/King Hussein Bridge crossing. Fee: 40 JOD for single-entry 1-month visa on arrival (per mota.gov.jo). Extension of stay possible for up to 60 days. Restricted nationals holding valid residence permits in EU, GCC, Australia, Canada, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland or US Green Card (valid at least 6 months) are treated as non-restricted for VoA - EXCEPT Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Nigeria who are unconditionally excluded. Iran is the sole nationality that must obtain a visa in advance from a Jordanian embassy/consulate. Travel document holders cannot obtain VoA (except Vatican Travel Pass holders).
