The contract should have a specific clause for payment of income tax in India. - An invitation letter from India (addressed to the High Commission of India or Consulate) confirming that the applicant will be paid a salary in India or the UK. - In case the applicant is applying for a second-time or renewal of an employment visa, a copy of Form 16 (tax paid in India) must also be attached along with other requisite documents. - Copy of the Registration papers of Company/Companies in India offering the Employment. - Copy of educational qualification documents - For foreigners intending to visit for honorary work (Without Salary) with Registered NGOs in India to apply for ‘Employment Visa’ are required to submit the following documents: - Proof of his/her Employment letter/ Invitation Letter for Voluntary Work from Registered NGO. - Name and Place of work in India and - Duration of the Voluntary Work. - For fashion designers to be employed in the Handicraft sector - For Employment under YPS scheme The applicant must be between 18-30 years of age i.e. aged 30 or under as on the date application is made and must be aged 18 or over on the date their entry clearance to India will become valid. Application under the scheme can be submitted up to 3 months before the applicant Is 18 years old. The applicant must hold an undergraduate or equivalent diploma /degree of at least three years higher education corresponding to the qualification required for the employment. The applicant must provide degree/certificates issued by recognized institution that they have completed their studies. The UK applicants needs to provide their version of police clearance certificate/character certificate while applying under this scheme. Applicants must have sufficient financial resources equivalent to Indian Rs.2, 50,000/- at the time of submission of their applications to be able to maintain themselves during their stay in India. The applicant must not have previously visited India on the YPS scheme. Documents Required: - Completely Filled application form with 2 Photographs. Requirements for Ayush visa: (i) Wellness Hospital/ Wellness Centre should be accredited and registered with any Government authority(ies) concerned or National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH)/ National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)/ National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) accredited hospitals providing Ayush services. (ii) Applicant should submit proof of his/her financial standing (the production of a return ticket and availability of sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India including the expenses for such treatment). (iii) Applicant should also submit medical documents [supporting letter from an accredited Ayush Institution where the visitor will be treated and prescription/ medical history document necessitating the treatment (not applicable to wellness) duly stamped by concerned accredited hospital of the foreigner’s country of origin or country of domicile]. Ayush Visa to attendant/ family members: (i) Attendants/ family members of the patient coming to India for medical treatment under Ayush systems may be granted AYUSH-2 (AY-2) visa co-terminus with the AY-1 visa. (ii) Not more than two persons (attendant or family member) may be allowed at a time for the grant of AYUSH-2 (AY-2) visa. (iii) The principal AY-1 visa holder and attendant AY-2 visa holder shall exit India together, on completion of treatment or expiry of visa.
