UK eVisa and share code for Immigration Status Printed copies of share code proving Immigration Status in the UK and eVisa verification, clearly stating the ground of residency and expiration date, with photo of the applicant. eVisa must be valid at least 1 month upon return from Schengen Area. Spouse: customers may be sponsored by their spouse/registered partner, providing: - marriage certificate (original + copy): when this document was issued outside the EU and is not in English, then it should be translated by a certified translator in the UK - spouse/registered partner’s passport (original + copy) - spouse/registered partner’s employment details - spouse/registered partner’s last 3 months UK bank statement - spouse/registered partner’s cover letter (signed & dated) confirming sponsorship 6. Proof of funds Latest 3 months UK bank statements showing customers name, address and final balance dated within the last month on the visa application submission date. For employed applicants, the statement must be the one where the salary is credited; balance needs to show a minimum amount of £ 48.00/day of stay in the Schengen Area + outstanding accommodation and travel fees. 7. Proof of travel e. Flight tickets along with proof of payment, paid in full and confirmed: It is necessary that tickets mention the applicants name as stated on their passport, inbound and outbound travel dates to/from the Schengen Area, Airline Reservation Code and E-Ticket number. This is applicable to all tickets if the trip itinerary contains multiple layovers. Holiday packages paid in instalments must provide proof that at least 75% of the total cost has been paid at the time of application. Applications submitted with a provisional flight ticket/reservation, are only partially paid and/or booked through a travel agency not registered in the UK will be deemed invalid which may lead to the application being refused. f. When travelling by car: car registration, car insurance, return travel tickets (ferry or Eurotunnel) mentioning the car’s registration number and driver’s driving licence. If the customer is not the driver, then driver’s cover letter (signed & dated) confirming joint travel with the customer and travel dates need to be provided too. Proof of accommodation Confirmed accommodation (hotel, hostel, camping…) reservation mentioning customers name, travel dates and accommodation address details. If the customer’s name is not mentioned on the accommodation reservation, then a joint travel confirmation letter, signed and dated by the person whose name is on the reservation, must also be provided along with a photocopy of that same person’s passport/ID card + passport signature page, if signature is not on passport’s bio page. When accommodation is reserved for a group, then a list with the names of the group members will also be required. 9. Business invitation letter Letter of invitation by a Company based in Malta. Letter must be printed on headed letter, shows the purpose of the trip, dates of stay and any additional information about the business trip. Letter must be signed by a representative of the Company. 10. Travel insurance (all-risk medical travel insurance) The Travel Medical Insurance must clearly state the name of the policy holder, is valid for the entire Schengen Area, valid for the entire duration of the trip, have a minimum coverage for medical emergencies and repatriation of no less than €30,000 and purchased only through a UK registered insurance provider. Applications intending to cover multiple trips to the Schengen Area should not submit a single-trip insurance policy.
