otherNon Immigrant Visa (Category O “Volunteer”)

- Passport and one copy of your passport with validity not less than 6 months. - One visa application form completely filled out (black and blue ink only). - One passport-size photographs (2″x2″). Photographs must have a light color background with a full- face view of the person without wearing a hat or dark glasses and covering up shoulders. Photos must be taken within 6 months. - Flight confirmation/reservation, showing going from origin country to Thailand and leaving from Thailand. (The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly). - Recent bank statement with the amount of no less than 700USD per person or 1,500USD per family. The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly. In case of submitting family bank statement a proof of relationship (i.e., birth certificate, marriage certificate) must be provided. - Official letter certifying the purpose of duties and period of time from the organization. - The organization’s registration certificate. - A copy of Thai ID card or passport of head of the organization. - A copy of work permit if the head of NGO organization is a foreigner. - Copy of yellow fever certificate of vaccination.

(The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly). - Bank statement or evidence of adequate finance showing a deposit of the amount equal to and not less than 800,000 Baht; or an income certificate (an original copy) with a monthly income of not less than 65,000 Baht; or a deposit account plus a monthly income totaling not less than 800,000 Baht. - In the case of submitting a bank statement, a letter of guarantee from the bank (an original copy) is required. - Medical certificate (must be notarized) showing no prohibitive diseases as indicated in the Ministerial Regulation No.14 (B.E. 2535) (namely leprosy, T.B., elephantiasis, drug addiction and third step of syphilis) certificate shall be valid for not more than three months. - Letter of verification stating that the applicant has no criminal record issued by relevant government agency. - Insurance with coverage of no less than 40,000 THB for outpatient treatment; and no less than 400,000 THB for inpatient treatment.

To obtain this letter, the company in Thailand is required to submit a request with respective Thai Government agency. - (For Working / Business) Corporate documents of associated partners/companies in Thailand. - (For Teaching) Letter of acceptance from an institution in Thailand. - (For Teaching) Evidence of educational qualification such as a copy of diplomas /teaching certification or copies of transcript - (For Teaching) A copy of school (in Thailand) license or business registration, list of shareholders and school profile. - (For Teaching) For applicants who are going to teach at schools not listed as recognized International Schools, a copy of letter of approval from the Office of the Private Education Commission is required. - (For Teaching) A letter from the local police or government authority stating that the applicant has no criminal record. - Copy of the yellow fever certificate of vaccination.
