Singapore's ICA publishes a list of countries/territories whose nationals REQUIRE a visa; all other passport holders are visa-exempt. The ICA page states that holders of passports/travel documents NOT from visa-required countries do not need a visa. Stay duration (14, 30, or 90 days) is determined by the Visit Pass issued at the checkpoint. Visa-required countries as of June 2026: Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Egypt, Georgia, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen. Please produce the following documents in support of your application. Additional documents may be required when necessary. - Passport: Original passport and a photocopy of the applicant’s passport bio-data page must be furnished. At least 6 months’ validity (calculated from the date of arrival in Singapore). - Form 14A: One set (Original) of duly completed form (in English) and signed by the applicant in person per application. - Passport-sized coloured photograph: - taken within the last 3 months - sized 35mm wide by 45mm high without border - coloured, must be taken against a white background - taken full face without headgear (unless headgear worn in accordance with his/her religious or racial custom, but the headgear must not hide the applicant’s features). - PRC ID card, HK ID card, HK visa and Permit to Travel: Original and a photocopy of the HK ID card, PRC ID card HK VISA and permit to travel between Hong Kong and China or Macau, if any. - Documents for Employed Applicant: If applicant is employed, an original letter from the employer stating applicant’s particular, the duration of employment, the designation, salary and the granting leave of absence is required. The letter must be stamped with the official stamp of the company and signed by relevant personnel. - Documents for Unemployed Applicant: If applicant is unemployed, he/she must produce the bank certificate/statement issued within 1 month of the visa application to reflect his/her actual economic capability. Other documents proving their economic capabilities may also be accepted. For applicants providing their family member’s bank certificate/statement/company letter, he/she must provide the copy of marriage certificate or birth certificate for relationship proof. - Student Certificate (If student): Original letter from the school (stamp with school’s official stamp, and signed by relevant personnel), or original of the applicant’s student card. Important Notice The Singapore Consulate-General and AVAs reserves the right not to process the application if any of the documents above are not submitted. Incomplete forms and/or documents submitted may result in the application being rejected or the processing delayed.Please note that each application for a visa will be considered on its own merits. A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore.

Applicants who are invited by Singapore government agencies, universities or are attending exhibition/conference/convention in Singapore are not required producing business profile. However, they need to present the original invitation letter by the inviting organization or event organizer addressed to the applicant. The invitation letter must be signed by the invitee of the organizer and addressed to the applicant (the full name as in passport). - Employment Letter: Original company letter issued by applicant’s current employer stating the designation, purpose and date of visit to Singapore. - Other Requirements: The applicant may be required to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary requested by the Singapore Consulate-General or our AVAs. Official translations of the documents are required if they are not in the English language.
