Available to nationals of USA, Canada, and Australia under permanent e-visa regime (effective April 10, 2025 for US/Canada/Australia; permanent from January 1, 2026). Multiple-entry, up to 90 days per visit within 10-year validity (5-year for Australia/Canada). Fee approximately BRL 257 / USD 80.90. Applied via VFS Global portal. This is the Visitor Visa (VIVIS), the visit visa for tourism, business and transit (note: VITEM II is a separate health-treatment visa, not the visitor visa). France was briefly on e-visa then restored to visa-free (Feb 24, 2026). Argentina and Mexico remain visa-free as of June 2026 - not currently in e-visa regime.

Brazil has no separate business visa: business travel uses the Visitor Visa (VIVIS), the same category as tourism, for stays up to 90 days. Paid employment in Brazil is prohibited, though reimbursement of expenses and allowances are permitted. Nationals of the US, Canada and Australia must instead obtain the electronic Visitor Visa (e-Visa) via VFS Global; most other nationals who require a visa apply at a Brazilian consulate. Consular fee varies by nationality (reciprocity). Usually multiple-entry, at the discretion of the Brazilian government.
