Student e-Visa / Residence Permit

Emergency Entry Visa (EEV) / Visa on Arrival

• Requires letter to the Comptroller-General stating country of origin, arrival date, stay duration, visit purpose, travel itinerary, and lodging information.

Re-Entry Visa (Single)

Issued to visitors who are already in Ghana on a valid permit and wish to leave the country temporarily and return without obtaining a new visa.

Re-Entry Visa (Multiple)

Work and Residence Permit (Companies)

Work and Residence Permit (Missionaries/NGOs/GIPC/Free Zones)

For foreign nationals working with NGOs, missions, or businesses registered with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) or Ghana Free Zones Board.

Fee: $194–$388 (Missionaries/NGOs); $194–$500 (GIPC Automatic Quota); $194–$647 (Immigrant Quota) per GIS fees page. Requires GIPC Registration Certificate, Ghana Free Zones Board approval (if applicable), ministerial support letter, and standard company/professional documents.

Work and Residence Permit - Shareholders

For foreign nationals who hold shares in Ghanaian-registered companies and wish to reside in Ghana in connection with their business interests.

Residence Permit (Dependent)

Right of Abode
