Employment Pass (EP)
Working in Singapore as a professional, manager, or executive
Minimum fixed monthly salary of SGD 5,600/month (general sectors, age 23 base), higher for older candidates (up to SGD 10,700/month at age 45+) and for financial services (SGD 6,200/month base, up to SGD 11,800/month at age 45+). Employer applies on behalf of candidate via EP Online. Fee SGD 105.

Mid-level skilled workers earning at least SGD 3,300/month (SGD 3,800 in financial services)
Minimum qualifying salary from 1 September 2025: SGD 3,300/month (general sectors) and SGD 3,800/month (financial services), rising with age up to SGD 4,800 / SGD 5,650 at age 45+. Increases again to SGD 3,600 / SGD 4,000 base for new applications from 1 January 2027. Quota- and levy-based (companies capped at a sector dependency ceiling). Employer applies via EP Online.

Established tech entrepreneurs, leaders, and technical experts (salary at least SGD 22,500/month or equivalent track record)
Requires last drawn fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 22,500 in the last year, AND 5+ cumulative years in a leading role at a technology company valued US$500M+ or with US$30M+ funding, or at a VC firm with US$500M+ assets under management. Valid 2 years, renewable once (max 4 years); 500 places on a first-come basis. Not tied to an employer. Singapore does not offer a dedicated digital-nomad/remote-work visa; Tech.Pass is a tech-talent work pass. Fee not published on the EDB page. To be superseded by a new ONE Pass (AI and Tech) track from January 2027.

Personalised 5-year pass, renewable. No employer sponsorship required; holder may concurrently start, operate and work for multiple Singapore companies. From January 2027 a new ONE Pass (AI and Tech) track is expected to be introduced.

High-earning professionals not tied to any single employer
To apply, fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 22,500; to keep the pass, at least SGD 270,000 in fixed annual salary per calendar year. Valid up to 3 years, issued once and non-renewable. Holder must not be unemployed for more than 6 months and cannot start a business or freelance.

Semi-skilled migrant workers in the construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process and services sectors
Valid up to 2 years, tied to the worker's passport validity, security bond and employment period. Applicant must be aged 18 to below 62. Employer or appointed agent applies; sector-based quotas (dependency ceilings) and monthly levies apply, and workers come only from approved source countries/regions.

For trainees earning a fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 3,000, or foreign students whose training attachment is part of their course at an acceptable institution. Valid up to 3 months and not renewable. Employer applies.

Students and young graduates who want to work and holiday in Singapore for up to 6 months
Open to undergraduates and graduates aged 18 to 25 from recognised universities in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Valid up to 6 months, non-renewable; capped at 2,000 pass holders at any one time.

Validity is tied to the principal pass holder's pass (up to 2 years). The sponsor must earn a qualifying minimum salary. DP holders who wish to work need a Letter of Consent.

Common-law spouse, step-children, handicapped children, or parents of an eligible work pass holder who cannot get a Dependant's Pass
Validity tied to the principal pass holder (up to 2 years). Parents can be sponsored only if the pass holder earns over SGD 12,000/month. Note: ICA separately issues an LTVP/LTVP+ for foreign spouses of Singapore citizens and permanent residents.
