In case of Minor applicants the following documents are required: The application form should be signed by both representatives. The authorization form should always contain full information of the applicants. Visa application Form The Visa application form should be filled with latin alphabet on eelviisataotlus.vm.ee (eelviisataotlus.vm.ee). After filling, the form needs to be printed and signed in two places (p.37 and the end of the form). A photo should be attached to the Form. Photograph (one) - Colored one with the light background with the dimensions of 35 x 45 mm; - Photo should be made not earlier than 6 months before documents submission; - Face image should occupy 70-80% of the photo. - The photo should be glued at the Application form. Passport - The passport must be valid three (3) months after the end of a proposed visa duration - The passport must be issued less than ten (10) years ago before the planned date of leaving the Schengen area. - There should be at least two (2) empty pages available in the passport titled “Visas” - A copy of the passport’s biopage is also required. Insurance - The travel insurance should cover all the expenses that might arise from repatriation due to medical reasons, first aid, emergency hospitalization or death during the stay in the Schengen area. - It should be valid in all member states of the Schengen area and cover the complete duration of stay. - The minimum insurance amount should be 30 000 Euro Work certificate All employed applicants should provide an employment proof (original). If the invitation is for multiple trips, then specific dates of the first trip should be mentioned. - Precise address of residence during the stay in Estonia The private invitation can be handwritten or printed. The invitation can be submitted in original form as well as printed from fax / e-mail, scanned and printed. Invitations received y telegram are also acceptable. The inviting person’s passport copy or ID copy, or copy of the residence permit (both sides if in card form), in case the inviting person is not a citizen of Estonia , are to be submitted along with the application. Please note! Name and surname of the inviting person mentioned in p.31 of the Application Form should be identical to the ID document. Transport - If the applicant is travelling by public transport – tickets or ticket bookings to Estonia and back. The bookings should be valid during the complete period of the visa issuing process. - If the applicant is travelling by personal transport – Copy of driver’s license and car registration. If the car does not belong to the applicant or the driver is another person, then additional documents have to be provided that will prove the right of the applicant to drive the car. (i.e. the consent of the owner to drive the car to Estonia and back combined with a copy of the owner’s driver’s license and visa) - If the applicant is travelling by contractual transport – copy of the contract, copy of the driver’s license and copy of the vehicle registration. - Other transport – documents proving the applicant’s rights to operate the vehicle If the applicant is applying for a multiple entry visa, the transport documents covering only the first trip are sufficient. If the applicant for some reason cannot provide transport documents, an explanatory note should be submitted. It should mention the transportation type and the reasons why supporting documents cannot be provided. The Embassy, however, has the right to request additional documents, proving the transportation availability to Estonia and back, especially if the applicant states that he/she is not sure about the travel dates or the bookings for a specific flight/trip are not yet open Accommodation Documents proving the accommodation: - Paid hotel confirmation, rental agreement or any other document that proves the reserved place of stay. It is mandatory to provide all of the documents listed below. Otherwise your visa might be refused. The absence of a required document might influence the decision of the Consul. The Embassy accepts documents in Estonian, Ukrainian, Russian, English. In case of Minor applicants the following documents are required: The application form should be signed by both representatives. In case the form is signed by one representative only, a written consent from the second representative should be attached. The invitation can be submitted in original form as well as printed from fax / e-mail, scanned and printed. Invitations received y telegram are also acceptable. The inviting person’s passport copy or ID copy, or copy of the residence permit (both sides if in card form), in case the inviting person is not a citizen of Estonia , are to be submitted along with the application.
