Per EU Regulation No 265/2010 of 25 March 2010: a third-country national holding a valid long-stay visa (Type D) issued by any Schengen Member State may travel to Hungary and other Schengen states for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, under the same conditions as a residence permit holder. For journeys undertaken for the purpose of official visits (bilateral or multilateral) – members of official delegations. Please note: For each applicant a complete file is required. It is necessary, copies of relevant documents like hotel reservation or confirmation, travel insurance, proof of finances, ticket reservation or travel itinerary are to be made for the files of each member of the (travel) party or family. 1.One application form " Application for a Schengen-Visa " duly completed (in English) and signed by the applicant in person. Visa application forms of minors (below the age of 18) need to be signed by a least one of their parents or the person exercising legal guardianship. 2.A passport, signed in person, which must be valid for at least three months after the date of departure from the Schengen area, contain at least two blank pages and have been issued within the previous 10 years. 2.1 Copy of passport - copy of the page with personal data and if available copies of Schengen visas issued in the last 3 years with entry and exit stamps 2.2 Copy of ID card or internal passport 3.Two actually, identical, recent passport photographs, not later than 6 month meeting Schengen requirements (one glued on the application form, the other attached). - Official invitation letter on official letterhead paper, stamped and signed, from the inviting authority or international organization, containing the following information: the full address and contacts of the authority or organization; the name and position of the officer who signed the letter; the name, nationality, date of birth and function of the invited person; purpose and duration of the visit - Note from MFA of Republic Uzbekistan and official letter issued by a national authority or organization, confirming that the applicant is a member of the official delegation travelling to Hungary / Denmark to participate in official meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programs, as well as in events held in Hungary/Denmark by intergovernmental organizations with stamp and signature, mentioning clearly: the full address and contacts of the authority or organization; the name and position of the countersigning officer; the name and position of the applicant; purpose and duration of the visit - Proof of accommodation: voucher or booking from hotel, clearly indicating: name and surname of the visa applicant; duration of the stay; contact details of hotel - Accident/health insurance valid for the entire stay and accepted in the whole Schengen space. The insurance must cover the minimum amount of EUR 30’000.00 (coverage: repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention, emergency hospital treatment and transportation of the body in case of death). - Ticket reservation including return trip For Third country nationals: All non-Uzbekistan citizens living in Uzbekistan have to be legal residents of the Uzbekistan and need to present the relevant documents (residence permit or long-term registration: original and copy, confirmation for the employment in Uzbekistan). Supporting documents to be submitted by all applicants for people travelling with the purpose of tourism by staying in a hotel or in a rented flat. Please note: For each applicant a complete file is required (including children). It is necessary, copies of relevant documents like hotel reservation or confirmation, travel insurance, proof of finances, ticket reservation or travel itinerary are to be made for the files of each member of the (travel) party or family. 1.One application form " Application for a Schengen-Visa " duly completed (in English) and signed by the applicant in person. Supporting documents to be submitted by all applicants - Proof of residence in Uzbekistan - Round ticket reservation - Proof of financial means: - Original bank account statement of the applicant or the sponsor for the last 3 months (all applicants) - Salary certificate indicating level of salary in last 12 months (if employed) - Confirmation of employer or educational facility about employment and position (if employed) or student status (if studying) - Approval of employer or educational facility to take leave (if employed) or holidays (if studying) - Any other proof of financial means (e.g. original certificate of sponsorship or other legal form of sponsorship if equally accepted by Member State, proof of scholarship or research grant, etc.), - In a view of lack of income, for the student it’s necessary to present a sponsorship letter about coverage of all costs from one of his/her parents with notary confirmed translation into English language. - Confirmed proof of accommodation depending on the purpose of journey for the entire period of stay - Proof of family ties in Uzbekistan (original passports of spouse and children, birth certificates of children, proof of maritial status, etc.) - Letter of Acceptance from the University: the beginning date of classes, payment information (if it’s paid education) and others should be noted. Pre-paid reservation in a hotel, or proof of other accommodation for whole period of stay in the Member State (e.g. campus residence reservation). Available only to nationals of the 10 partner countries with bilateral working holiday agreements: Australia (annual quota 500), Argentina (200), Chile (200), Hong Kong (200), Japan (200), South Korea (100), Ecuador (100), Colombia (100), Taiwan (100), and New Zealand (100). The number of permits issued per year cannot exceed the treaty quota; once exhausted, further applications are rejected.
