Allows travelers transiting through Nepal to enter and spend a night (up to 24 hours) between connecting international journeys.
Issued for 24 hours (overnight) to foreign nationals in transit, on production of proof of onward transit (a confirmed air ticket). Visa fee is USD 5. Cannot be extended. Obtained at the Tribhuvan International Airport immigration counter. Fee and 24-hour duration confirmed on the Department of Immigration Transit Visa page.
